I’m just the curious type, and you certainly need not answer, but is the fading of the memories in this case…a good thing, or a bad thing. I only ask because as a ptsd sufferer, the fading of certain memories would be a blessing, but I would suspect that the fading of particularly good memories (such as those of my mother) would be a curse. I guess your poem is very successful as it has made me truly stop and consider. Congratulations, and thank-you for the time of reflection.
