Somewhere in my mind,
I saw the memories I left behind.
Some of them were bright,
and as radiant as light.
Sometimes we put up a fight,
to let our dreams take flight.
Some of them were dark,
that they left a mark.
Sometimes we do not get what we want,
but yet those thoughts still haunt.
As time passes by,
I kept asking why.
Until I found my own reply,
with my very own eyes.
Learning through this long climb,
that memories doesn’t fade with time.

Okay, been away for a LONG time. Was pretty busy recently :((
But I’m back! 😀
Okay, been inspired by a friend to write this post.
Everytime we take photographs together. Be it group photo or individual photo, he doesn’t like to take them. So that day I asked him about it.
And he mentioned, “I don’t know how to smile”
I said something to him, and will like to share with you all of you this nice quote of mine. teehee
What I feel is that everyone have their own unique type of smile.
You don’t have to follow what the others do,
because you are special in your own way.
And no one can take that away from you.
In the past, I do not like to take photographs as well because I thought I looked ugly compared to the rest.
During those things that happened in life, including my surgery, I realised there are still so many things I have yet to do and that
includes simple things like a beautiful smile.
From that day onwards, my smile came from within my heart.
I do not really care how ugly I look in the photo physically any more because I know that deep in my heart lies a sincere smile.
True happiness comes from the heart.
So people, don’t worry so much about how you look in the photographs anymore because you are beautiful in your own way. And
that’s something no one can judge about you.
Remember to smile when you can, Life’s too short to be unhappy.
You only live once, don’t do things that you will regret.
And I heard something that I was really thankful about.
People have said that my laugh was contagious 😉
My greatest wish is that everyone around me to be happy forever and ever. ( I think that will never ever change 😉 )

Another Meaningful day,
Wanted to blog these past days but didn’t really have the time. Apparently was busy with assignments and with life. hehe.
So a year and 2 days back which is the 25th May 2012 was the day I had my surgery and 26th, another one. Memories really flow back, and guess that was really my life turning point. 😉 Time really flies~
Anyway, went to zoo on 26th May, glad I spent it meaningfully this year. My family and I joined a walkathon that was organised by Leukemia and lymphoma foundation at the zoo! It was a really great experience and I haven’t been to the zoo for very long! Then we went to the newly opened River Safari to see the famous pandas, Kaikai and JiaJia! :)) Apparently they were asleep and we sat there and waited for them to wake up! I’m glad they did. :d
Will be sharing photos too, hehe.

Today can be the happiest day of my life. I will say.
Once in 2 blog posts below, I wrote about how I have missed the chance of telling my grandma the words, especially those 3 words, ” I love you ” .
Last night, or I will say today morning, I dreamt of her.
In the dream, I finally told her what I wanted to say.
She smiled..
And she looked so good and happy.
In the end, I woke up crying.
She had heard me..
Thank you grandma, for letting me put down this regret I have carry for years.

Photographs,
I was inspired by one of my good friend to write this blog post.
Apparently, she likes to ask me this question when I want to take a photo, ” Why do you want to take photo? I don’t want!”
HAHAA. Then I will tell her why I want to take photographs.
I like taking photographs for a reason.
We can’t preserve time but we can preserve a moment from that time.
That is photographs.
We can’t stop time, however, when we take photographs, we can have a moment of the past, in the future.
Here I will share a few photographs, taken in Taiwan.
I feel that when I look at these pictures in the future, I will be extremely happy and it will be a good way for me to reminisce the past.
Facebook, Instagram, blogs are actually very good tools to store your pictures. 😉
So dear friend, don’t ask me again okay? 🙂
Let’s store these memories for the future.

Life?
My dear friend just gave me inspirations to write this blog post.
So here goes.
I understand that I have wrote pretty much posts on life. But I guess the definition of life and how we describe it kept changing that it can go on forever and forever.
My friend asked me this, ” Do you think life is cruel? Giving happiness then take it away.”
To this, I personally feel that yes, life is cruel in a way. Maybe at times. And when we are feeling in bliss, someone out there in the world could be suffering and thus, life is cruel in a way.
But thinking about the positive side, these setbacks actually made us grow in our lives. From what happened, from what we defined as “cruel” things, we learnt how to cope in these type of situations and maybe next time, we could even share with others our experiences and what we learnt from it. From these sharings, we could probably help other people avoid the setbacks or even give advices to allow them to solve the problem even more efficiently.
We have to understand that life doesn’t always go where we want to go.
And thus, we just have to learn to be even more flexible.
Alot of things, we have to learn to let go more easily and look in the positive way.
At the moment when you decided to let go/ forgive and forget,
the next time when you look back,
you will be wondering why you felt that way in the past.
And only that, you can find happiness and look forward to life.
Furthermore, you will realise that perhaps when you gotten yourself into a new road, it could be a road to a newer and brighter future. Life is unexpected. 🙂

Fireworks shooting up the sky,
