That precious memory,

Our lives were perfect,

there were nothing that we lacked.

Things were unexpected,

but it was not what we wanted.

You left us,

in a speed that was so fast.

That day when we cried,

obviously we had no more appetite.

That night, we wept,

so much tears were shed.

How much we feared,

was the amount of tears that have been teared,

Those days were a horror,

when all of us were drowned into sorrow.

Slowly by slowly.

step by step.

We put you into our memory,

and we no longer live in the misery.

Now that it have been so long,

we have moved on.

The love we have,

will always be there.

Have you guys ever had something that you have forgotten for a very long time and one day, you were walking down the street? Then the memory suddenly returned back to you as a vivid memory and that you could remember it as if the incident had just happened yesterday.

Or is there a  memory that you can never ever forget in your entire life even though it happened very long time ago.

It was that day. The day that my grandmother left us. It was too sudden, and perhaps that was what added to the impact that had caused all of us, whereby we can never ever forget what happened that day.

A piece of memory came to me that day. I do not really remember much about the things that happened in the past. But this piece of memory came back:

That day, she brought me to the market. She held my hand all along and when we reached a store, she bought something from the shop and this shop sell toys as well. She asked me if I wanted the toy. As a kid, i nodded. It was a farm set of toys. Now, I still have the 2 piece of toys with me.

The week before she went to heaven, she said to me,

“我要收这些美美的衣服过年!“ (I want to keep these beautiful clothes for Chinese new year! )

I believe that when she left us, that incident kind of changed me.
I became more conscious and aware of the things around me and no longer take things for granted.

What I regret is that I never had a chance to say.” I love you and thank you” to her.
I lost that chance but I believed that she will still understand me.

Now and then,

I will still think about her.

婆婆,您一定要快乐。好想您。。

Little small things in life,

As I have said the past few days, this week was definitely a terrible one, with a terribly hectic and packed schedule. However, I’m so glad it’s Friday today! which marks the last presentation for the week. I haven’t had enough sleep recently. hahaha. And couldn’t believe I only slept for 2 hours last night.  Well, no matter, I’m a girl who can’t survive without sleep. hahaa. First, I will like to tell all my readers and classmates that, Please do not lose hope. It will be over soon. :’) Although the process could be tough,

there are fun moments and experiences, knowledges learnt throughout the whole thing.

Thus, never regret it!

So here’s Ben & Jerry’s Ice cream to satisfy my cravings,Image

And my friend got this small little cute bear for me in Korea, Image

And another friend bought me a book from Taiwan 🙂Image

These small little things in my life, are the ones that kept me going despite the hard process. They are the little lights that lead me out when I was in my darkness.

Thank you for everything, thank you for everyone who is around me and thank you for single moments that I wish to remember forever and ever. Grateful and thankful. Anyway, It’s Chinese new year eve!~! 🙂

Can’t wait for cny! 🙂 Happy Chinese new year and happy holidays everyone! 😀

xx

Thank you for all your support. :)

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 2,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 3 years to get that many views.

Click here to see the complete report.

Thank you for all the support. When I started blogging, I didn’t know I will have so much views. But right now, I’m thankful for that 🙂
And I hope I can do better and reach out to even more people out there.

Especially in 8 months, I managed to get so many readers and subscribers :’)

And I will put this picture under my awards, because to me, is still an achievement. i’m thankful for that. 🙂

These really meant alot to me :’)

Once again, thank you. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving day :)

Hi everyone,

First, I will like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving day! 🙂
In my life, I have too many things to thank about.
I’m thankful to meet people I meet in my life.
I’m thankful for all the laughters and smiles I have in my life.
I’m thankful for all the tears of happiness or sadness I have cried.
I’m thankful to everything that have happened to me. Good or bad.
I’m thankful for all the memories in my life.
Lastly, I’m thankful to be in this world.

If I have to say people in specific , that I want to thank.
I guess this list will never end.
But I’ve to thank my family and some friends in specific,
Thank you for always being there when I need you.
Thank you for giving me advices when I couldn’t find my right way.
Thank you for patting me on my head, and telling me I did well.
Thank you for hugging me when I cry.
Thank you for scolding me when I made a mistake.
Thank you for showering me all the love you can ever give to a person.
Thank you and thank you.

So here comes another self-created poem:

Thankful

Good memories have brought me all the way,
which left me too much words to say.
Bad memories have came past,
but I know they will never last.
I am feeling really grateful,
these are things I have been so thankful.
There are so many people I never regret meeting,
they are the ones who control my feelings.
When they cry,
I know I will sigh.
When they laugh,
I know smiling aren’t that tough.
After the rain,
comes the rainbow.
Thank you for all the things that have happened to me,
they were the greatest gift for me.

Thank you for all the support in my blog as well.
I gained my 21st follower tonight.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Now, turn around and say thanks to the people you appreciate. 😉
