3rd anniversary ! ^^

Time flies and is already the third year since I joined wordpress. I can still remember when I first joined WP, it was for fun and I was unaware what was it that I wanted to blog about.

It was until my life changing experience that I decided to write to motivate people to keep going and eventually chased my dreams and hobbies of writing poetry and slowly, to where I am right now.

Thankful for the 24.3k reads and 963 subscribers. Thank you all for giving me the courage to pursue my love in writing and I promise there will be more to come. So stick on! 🙂 have a good week ahead everyone! 💗💕

Dreams,

#65 Beautiful sight,

Stars in the night,
shining so bright.
Under the warm light,
I start to write.
Hugging my passion tight,
it felt so right.
For my dreams I will fight,
and it’s such a beautiful sight.

#43 Memories

Somewhere in my mind,
I saw the memories I left behind.
Some of them were bright,
and as radiant as light.
Sometimes we put up a fight,
to let our dreams take flight.
Some of them were dark,
that they left a mark.
Sometimes we do not get what we want,
but yet those thoughts still haunt.
As time passes by,
I kept asking why.
Until I found my own reply,
with my very own eyes.
Learning through this long climb,
that memories doesn’t fade with time.

It’s a wonderful night,
shimmering stars so bright.
Like having a fight,
shining with their might.
Everything feels so right,
grasping dreams as tight.

Stars shining brightly up the sky,

will they ever become mine?

But when they disappeared in a blink of eye,

Is that what it takes for one to say goodbye?

Lost, or maybe not…

I thought I found my dream,
Maybe it wasn’t as realistic as it seem.
Where were my dreams supposed to meet,
What was I trying to seek?
Where was this path going to lead,
What was the thing I really need?
I was confused of where I was going,
but I forgot the world would continue moving.
I lost my way,
but I was the only one who can have a say.
Dilemma brought me nowhere,
and I was feeling like I was somewhere.
Now I figured out my thought,
It was actually everything that I was being taught.
Life does not always give you what you expected,
that was how it was started.
Tears I shed that day,
it was the lesson I have to pay.
Right now, I wouldn’t even mind,
because it could be a dream that I might find.
I wouldn’t choose to be sad,
and rather, follow where the road of my future led.

Dream high and you will fly.

Dream high and you will fly.
I always believe in dreaming, not those day dreaming but having goals in your mind.
Once you have goals, you are able to work hard for it and then achieve what you want.
So … Always keep your dreams alive.
You will get what you want 😉

And thank you to Alastair for allowing me to step closer to getting the blog of 2012 award.
As for blogging, I guess keeping people inspired, getting more awards or recognition, and be able to continue blogging, will be my dreams for now. 🙂

Dreams,

Another poem, Dreams.

Dreams are hard to follow,
especially when our morale is low.
But who says is impossible?
They are definitely feasible.
If you do not try,
Who are you to judge that dreams are a lie.
Believe in your dreams,
You can make it real as it seems.
Dreams do come true,
when you make it through.
Milestones might be on the way,
it is not easy, they say.
If you ever fail,
just stand up and continue to sail.
But don’t only dream about your life,
or it will turn out to be a sigh.
Dream for it,
Work for it.
By then, you will see the peak,
and that is the dream you seek.
