The One Lovely Blog Award nominations are chosen by fellow bloggers for those newer or up-and-coming bloggers. The goal is to help give recognition and to also help the new blogger reach more viewers. It also recognizes blogs that are considered to be “lovely” by the fellow-blogger who chose them. Congratulations on the award. This prize was the first one that I received for my Blog, and I remember how good it made me feel to think that this guy who’s page I had been following actually thought of me when he was coming up with a list of people to extend the award to. You just can’t buy encouragement like that. It’s one of the things I’ve come to love about the Bloggosphere, the way the bloggers support and encourage each other to keep on trying and to be the best they can. It’s very warm, and it reassures me that there is still much hope for man/woman-kind to overcome the evil that we see in this world on a daily basis.
